My philosophy is simple... Offer great retreats at affordable prices!!
She who refreshes others, will herself, be refreshed.
I have been organizing amazing weekend retreats since 1995 building my client base with referrals. I believe in offering no less than what I would expect and selling only products I would use myself.
I am a beader and scrapper myself, having made over 150 albums - though my events welcome those who stamp, make jewelry, knit, paint or do any craft. Ladies have even attended simply bringing a book to read so they could be with their friends to take advantage of all the great opportunities and the wonderful escape we offer.
Why Weekends Away Retreats??
Because I don't believe you should pay for things you don't use or need... We generally don't offer meals (because most of us snack all weekend from the treat and sweet table) so this keeps the cost down and any classes are included in what you already paid.
Because we do not charge extra for any lessons we may teach.
Because we sell our unique products for "less than retail" (as we don't have all the the overhead and expenses of stores!!)
Because I believe a women's time away is necessary and essential to her sanity - I offer you time away with other fun and outgoing women that you already have something in common with - crafting. Come to the events with friends for a girl's weekend or come alone for some quiet time or I can sit you with others that come unaccompanied.
Because of my experience in teaching scrapbooking - I can help beginners who are overwhelmed with the thought of scrapbooking. It's true, those magazines scare the daylights out of most people!! Because my life is so busy, I specialize in fast, easy pages that look exciting and pleasing to the eye. Don't get me wrong, some of my clients are content to spend 4 hours on a page that truly look like a work of art . If this is what you choose to do - GREAT!! We all love to oogle over your amazing masterpieces So be prepared! But for most of us busy moms, my techniques and tools for beautiful and speedy pages is a life saver!!

This is also know as our Trash to Treasure area where we
exchange our "no longer used" products and supplies for items we
need

Because there is a great "Flea Market" area where you can sell off your no longer used items and can find items at a great $$

I love the hotel we stay in in Lake Geneva, the kitchenette is especially helpful for for meals as we want to stick around close to the scrapping. I also like the fact we are in the town so that when I do want to step out - everything is handy within walking distance. I als olike the store and the fact that you give an overview of what is available. I especially like the deals that you are albe to pass on to us. Our table really like the "trach to Treasure" table. Danita, I just wanted to let you know the retreat was fabulous! I had so much fun, everything was set up great, I loved being able to look at the products... I can't say enough good things!!
